OUR MISSION
To focus on the target population of women, children and farmers by mobilizing and facilitating gender transformative efforts through addressing the basic needs of livelihood, GBV, Environments, etc through evidence based programs.
The skill training program on tailoring was conducted to empower women and youth in Sirkali by equipping them with tailoring skills, enabling them to become self-reliant and enhance their livelihood opportunities. The program created a sense of confidence and self-reliance among participants, especially women, fostering opportunities for entrepreneurship and employment. Majority of participants were women from economically weaker sections and unemployed youth.
This initiative aims to alleviate hardships faced by daily wage workers, elderly individuals, and economically disadvantaged communities. Relief kits containing essential items such as rice, pulses, cooking oil, masks, sanitizers, and basic medicines are distributed to families. The Trust ensures all safety protocols are followed during the distribution to prevent any risk of infection. Beneficiaries express heartfelt gratitude, and the initiative reinforces Annai Trust's commitment to serving communities in times of crisis.
This initiative focuses on empowering textile workers in Tiruppur by ensuring their rights and improving their working conditions. Key achievements include: 1. Awareness Workshops: Organizing workshops for workers covering crucial topics such as minimum wages, Employees' State Insurance (ESI), and Provident Fund (PF). 2. Increased Awareness: Over 7,700 workers are now aware of their entitlements regarding insurance and various government welfare schemes. 3. Women's Union Formation: Establishing trade unions exclusively for women (GAGU & ANUKATHAM) to provide a dedicated platform for advocacy and support. The overall aim is to ensure decent work for all textile workers in the region.
The program's goal is to break the cycle of poverty through education, creating a more equitable future. By investing in Shooting Stars, you’re not only supporting scholars but also uplifting their families and communities. We provide financial aid to underprivileged students, including aspiring doctors and engineers studying in Government or quota-based colleges. In addition to financial support, we offer training in English, public speaking, and professional mentoring to help students succeed in their careers. Once established, we encourage them to mentor others and sponsor more scholars. Last year, ARPNA and SSF, USA, supported 700 students and trained 800 more. With the support of HOPE 3 Foundation and SEEEDS Foundatation ,USA, ARPNA sponsored 295 poor college students from Tamilnadu. We have organized a career guidance programme for the students.
A workshop on "Social Development and Sustainable Development" was held at Chennai and Bangalore, aimed at exploring the link between social equity and environmental sustainability. It gathered policymakers, academics, NGOs, and youth leaders to discuss strategies for inclusive growth and sustainable practices. The total number of participants is 95.
* Organized large scale , medical camp served 230 patients. Out of these, 12 patients needs special care and referred to Annamalai Medical college. * Laboratory testing equipment donated to Nannilam government hospital. * Ventilator machine donated to Mayiladuturai Government Hospital. * Blood bank medical equipment donated to Karaikal Government Hospital. * Modular kitchen equipment to Cuddalore Government Hospital donated to improve the hospital meals services for patient. *Distributed dry rations to 600 TB affected families.
* ARPNA successfully ignited the light of literacy across Tiruvarur and Mayiladuthurai empowering communities with knowledge and a brighter future. * Foster a learning culture through events including Book fairs, cultural programmes and competition. * Over 200 participants attended the job fair to connect with career guidance and promote skill development.
* Importance of water conservation. * Proper water management . * Rain water harvesting methods. * Empower local villagers to take charge on water resources. * 1040 farmers benefited from the awareness programme conducted by ARPNA on the water budget and had an additional income on the agriculture by this Jal Dooth programme and gave training to the farmers.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, ARPNA TRUST organized a meaningful celebration at its office premises to honor the strength, achievements, and rights of women. The event brought together staff, students, and special guests, highlighting empowerment, awareness, and talent. Programme Highlights: • The event commenced with a prayer song, setting a respectful and uplifting tone. • Mrs. Santhi V., Executive Director, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing ARPNA’s commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusive growth. • The Project Manager G Ayyappan., addressed the audience on the complaint mechanism of adolescent girls in place to ensure a safe and responsive environment within the organization. • Mrs. Kavitha, Advocate and Chief Guest, delivered a special address on the POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), explaining the legal framework, mechanisms, and protections available to women in workplaces. Her insights provided valuable awareness and encouraged open dialogue. • Certificates were distributed to students who successfully completed their computer training programs, recognizing their hard work and achievements. • A talent competition was held for students, showcasing their creativity, confidence, and expression in areas such as art, speech, and performance. • The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and supporters, followed by the National Anthem, reinforcing unity and pride. Participation: • A total of 50 students participated in the celebration, making it an engaging and inclusive event. This Women’s Day celebration served as a platform not only for honoring women but also for spreading legal awareness, women empowerment, building confidence, and recognizing accomplishments within the ARPNA community
A New Chapter in Community Health Begins! ARPNA NGO is proud to announce the launch of our Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Program a heartfelt initiative dedicated to bringing primary healthcare directly to the doorsteps of those who need it most, especially in underserved and remote communities. The day began with a soulful pooja and prayer song, setting a serene and purposeful tone for what would become a truly inspiring occasion of service and solidarity. This meaningful initiative has been made possible through the generous support of our donor, Samarpaka Seva Trust, Bangalore, and the medical partnership of Dr. Balaji’s Health Care, Sirkali. Celebrating Success! ARPNA NGO is proud to announce the successful completion of the final stage of our Two-Wheeler Mechanism Training & Job Placement Project! ARPNA NGO, in collaboration with ONGC Karaikkal, initiated the construction of a kitchen shed and store room at Anadammal Old Age Home, located in Perumpannaiyur Village, Tiruvarur District, on 18th March 2026. This initiative has been undertaken with the objective of improving the living conditions of elderly residents by providing a safe, hygienic, and well-structured space for cooking and food storage. Access to proper kitchen infrastructure is essential to ensure nutritious meal preparation, cleanliness, and overall well-being of the residents. The construction of the kitchen shed and store room will significantly enhance the operational efficiency of the old age home while also promoting dignity and comfort for its residents. ARPNA NGO is pleased to share a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to improve school infrastructure and promote hygiene among students. On 16th March 2026, ARPNA NGO, in collaboration with ONGC Karaikkal, initiated the construction of toilet facilities at Nadarajan Thamayanthi School, located in Nagapattinam District. The project has been undertaken with an estimated cost of ₹10 lakhs. This initiative is aimed at creating a safe, hygienic, and inclusive environment for students. Access to proper sanitation facilities is essential for ensuring the health, dignity, and regular attendance of children, particularly for girls. By addressing this critical need, the project seeks to encourage better hygiene practices and support uninterrupted education. The development of adequate sanitation infrastructure will contribute to a more conducive learning environment and overall well-being of the students, thereby strengthening the foundation for their academic growth.
